Dance Competitions at Just Dance
Welcome to the Competition Team!
Below outlines our values, ethos, and regulations around festivals.
Why Join the Competition Team?
Boosts confidence and stage presence
Encourages discipline, focus, and resilience
Builds friendships and a real sense of belonging
Enhances performance skills and technique
Gives your child a goal to work towards — and a moment to shine!
Being part of the competition team helps dancers grow both on and off the stage. If your child loves performing or needs a confidence boost, this is the perfect next step.
At Just Dance, we believe performance is a vital part of a dancer’s journey. Competitions give students the opportunity to step into the spotlight, celebrate their hard work, and grow in confidence through live performance. While they are competitive, our focus is not on medals or trophies — it's on personal development, resilience, teamwork, and the joy of dancing. Our programme is carefully structured to ensure a positive, supportive experience for every child, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and encouragement. For those who are ready, competitions are a truly rewarding part of their dance education — and we’re here to guide them every step of the way.
Our Ethos
At Just Dance, we believe in developing confident, well-rounded dancers through encouragement, not pressure. Competitions are about personal growth. We use performance opportunities to nurture resilience, joy, discipline, and teamwork. Every dancer’s progress is celebrated, and wellbeing always comes first.

5 ★ Parent Review
'I would just like to say thank you. She is very excited about your plans to provide the dancers with the opportunity to move them forward in their dance ability and facilitate the change to perform in competitions and wider audiences. It was all really inspiring whilst also giving the children the insight into the responsibility they need to should in order to progress.'
